I am unable to log into the Support portal or have forgotten my password. What do I do now? (4285100)

If you are unable to log into the Quest support portal or have forgotten a password, this article list the steps to reset the password and gain access.

Re-setting your password using the support.quest.com portal:

1. Go to http://support.quest.com
2. Click on the My Account icon.
3. Enter the email address associated with your Quest account and a password.
4. Click the Forgot password? hyperlink.
5. This action brings up a password rest page.  Enter the email address associated with your Quest account. 
6. Click the blue Reset Password button.
7. This action brings up the Create New Password page.
8. You will receive an email from support@quest.com with the title: Your Temporary Password.
9. Copy the temporary password from the email into the Temporary Password field.
10. Enter the new password you wish to use in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.  Take note of the following rules for creating a password:
    1. At least 8 characters
    2. At Least one letter
    3. At Least one number
11. Click the blue Reset Password button.
12. If the conditions of the password reset are met, the My Account page will load.

If you still cannot access the support portal after following these steps, please contact customer service.
