When trying to PXE boot a client to the K2000 appliance or Remote Site Appliance an error is returned. "PXE-E51 No DHCP or proxy DHCP offers were received."
Start off troubleshooting by making sure that the boot file can be obtained from a client located on the same subnet as the K2000 appliance or Remote Site Appliance.
The TFTP client can be installed on a Windows 10 operating system by launching Programs and Features then on the left side click on Turn Windows features on or off. Scroll down the list until you find TFTP Client. Check the box and then click OK.
Launch a Command Prompt and then type the following below:
Example:
Tftp 192.168.149.101 get undionly.kpxe
Transfer Successful: 1234 bytes in 1 second, 1234 bytes/s
If the above tests return data successfully, the next step would be to verify the DHCP documentation. Even if you have verified the steps previously, please return to the DHCP Configuration for BIOS and UEFI PXE (217556) article and make sure there are no typos. A simple typo (i.e. PXIClient instead of PXEClient) can throw off and fail the PXE boot process.
