A Domain Controller under Service Management may always show "Querying" for the Administrative Service or Update Service.
Stop the Windows Management Instrumentation service or reboot the domain controller. If this does not resolve the issue, WMI repository may be cleared out by deleting all files and folders in %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem\Repository, then restart the server. The deleted files and folders are recreated when the server restarts. If the issue remains, additional steps may need to be done to rebuild the repository or run a repair on the operating system.
