USB installation executable files will not be replicated if there are no elements enabled for the USB/Port Security object.
There are two executable files which get replicated to the NetLogon share as part of the UBM (User Based Management) file replication process. These two files are the 32 and 64 bit executable installation files (named USBPortSecurity.exe and USBPS_x64.exe respectively).
In previous versions, these files were always replicated if they were not present in the UBM replication target directory, even if there were no elements configured to set USB/Port Security settings. The combined size of these files is approximately 40 MB’s.
Starting in Desktop Authority version 9.1, the replication behavior has been changed to exclude those files from replication in the event that there are no USB/Port Security elements configured to install. However, it is important to note that the files residing in NetLogon from replication in previous versions will not be removed.
