When a new secured communication session with host computer is started a security certificate warning is received:
To start a secure communication, the ExpertAssist self-signed certificate must be installed in the guest computer, to do that, click the link to
"Continue to this website (not recommended)".
When the communication starts, the certificate status will be shown in the address bar:
Click on the certificate icon in address bar:
This will open the certificate information pop-up:
Click "View certificates":
When the Certificate window information appears click the "Install Certificate…" button.Then select "Local Machine" as Store Location and click "Next"
Select "Place all certificates in the following store", then click "Browse…" then select "Remote Desktop" and click "Next"
And complete the Certificate Import Wizard clicking "Finish"
When the import process ends click "Finish". If the certificate is imported without issues then the result will be shown on a window, click "OK" to finish the process on the Certificate Import Wizard window and again in the Certificate one.
The certificate is installed and next time the browser is started it will use the secured communication protocol with client.
