NOTE: This hotfix ONLY applies to customers located in Europe. Also, this only applies for SMA versions 8.1 and 9.0.
KACE Cloud MDM (Mobile Device Manager) is now live in Europe. Although our European customers have been able to purchase the product for some time, their data was stored in a US-based data center. As of the August 2018 release, KACE Cloud MDM subscriptions for European customers will be automatically provisioned in our European data center, located in The Netherlands. In addition to the reduced latency, customers will have peace of mind that corporate and institutional data will remain in the EU. Note that KACE SMA (Systems Management Appliance) customers in EMEA will need to apply this hotfix to allow the SMA to talk to the European data center.
Note: This kbin does not require/initiate a reboot of the SMA.
