Oops error when using the test button within an organization filter -
Description
When clicking on Test within an Organization Filter (Systemui | Organizations | Filters | Specific Filter), an error is received:
Oops! Something went wrong.
When reviewing the More Info hyperlink, the following error is noted:
PHP Error: Uncaught Unhandled Exception in /kbox/kboxwww/include/KSettingsOrg.class.php on line 154: Unknown Organization database -
Cause
This situation is under investigation as K1-20253 - LDAP Org Filter test button results in Oops page and should be addressed in a future release. In the meantime, a hotfix is available for this situation. Instructions and the hotfix .KBIN are located below. -
Resolution
NOTE: Applying the hotfix will FORCE A REBOOT on the SMA (K1000).
To apply the hotfix:
- Download the attachment at the bottom of this article: k1_hotfix_k1_19983_k1_20099_k1_20253_20181214.kbin
- Go to Settings | Appliance Updates
- Use the Choose Action in the Manually Update section and navigate to the file downloaded in step 1
- Click Update
To verify that the hotfix was applied successfully:
Go to Settings | Logs and change the drop-down to Updates. The logs should be similar to the following:
