After the upgrade of the SMA (KACE Systems Management Appliance) or if the appliance is newly deployed an error message occurs:
If you are upgrading from 6.3 to 6.4 and above, the backup functionality has been changed, so no downtime is necessary for that.
If the backup never ran after the update this message is normal and can be ignored.
This message will go away if the backup run has been finished.
The backup process can be started manually here: Settings | Backup Settings | Run Now
If the backup run has been finished, a manual backup has been completed as described above, and this message still appear, check the Backup Log for errors. Tech Support can help you analyzing the log if needed.
