As we announced last year, K1000 v6.4 was released in English only as a temporary measure to allow us to streamline our localization processes. We are happy to announce that localization will be re-introduced into the K1000 with the upcoming 6.4 SP2 release (targeted for release in March 2016).
K1000 6.4 SP2 will be localized in the following languages:
As part of the re-localization process, we performed a business analysis on the languages that will be supported going forward. Based upon this analysis, it has been determined that we will not continue localization in the following languages:
Customers using Italian or Chinese will need to remain on the latest localized version (v6.3) or switch to one of the localizations listed above as upgrades are installed. K1000 v6.3 will continue to have Limited Support through December 31, 2016 as referenced on the Product Support Lifecycle.
For customers that use localization, the 6.4 SP2 upgrade can be applied to 6.3 (Hotfix 1, 2, 3), retaining their localization. For customers that are on English only 6.4 GA and 6.4 SP1, the 6.4 SP2 upgrade will allow the use of localization again.
