This error will happen when a replication VA has been created/configured but the required scratch disk was not created.
Creating a Virtual Appliance for vRanger replication on (to/from) a VMware ESXi host without the required scratch disk. The size of the scratch disk is determined by the formula listed below.
Size of the largest replication VA divided by 2 multiplied by the number of simultaneous replication jobs being run.
i.e 100 GB VM is largest being replicated. We run 4 simultaneous replication jobs.
Scratch disk = 100 GB divided by 2 multiplied by 4 (simultaneous jobs) = 200 GB scratch disk.

This process requires that we create a "scratch disk" on the virtual appliance that has the capacity to perform the replication process determined by the size of the largest VM to be replicated, divided by 2, then multiplied by the number of simultaneous replication jobs being run.
