I have an automation script set up, with the feature to email out. The email is set with authentication but my password changes ever 90 days. Do I have to manually change it in all my saved automation scripts or can Toad detect the change and update for me?
Toad does not automatically detect changes for passwords if you have a specified authentication.
Manually reset the saved automation and password, or set the email authentication to something that does not change.
When setting up for email, you just need to make sure that the server you set it up with is accessible, and that the authentication you specify is allowed to send out emails. Keep in mind that the To and From fields can be anything. The From field does not need to match up with the server and could be any email address.
