The recommendation is to use a third party freeware application such as SQLite Browser:

You can then open the log file in SQLite Browser and from the Database Structure tab, right click the tables (such as Messages) and export to CSV.
*Note* You can reduce the log file size for large copy jobs by going to Performance within the job and selecting "Errors only" instead of "Full"
