The Core's Replication windows show replication status light gray (offline) after changing the Core hostname or IP address.
In the event that the source or target core has a change in ISP or IP address, the connection between cores may fail. The original IP address and settings may remain in the registry and cause a connection failure.
Remove the replication relationship to remove the old registry replication settings. Afterwards, configure replication again which will apply the correct registry settings.
Before proceeding, please make a note of what agents are selected to replicate and what repositories on the target Core they are assigned to. When you delete replication on both target and source Cores, those settings will not be preserved. Additionally, you need to know the hostname of the target Core and username and password of the administrator’s account. If you’re using a different port for replication (default is 8006), please make a note of that as well.
If there was a change in ISP you will need to be aware of any new gateway firewalls that may now affect the environment and Replication. Exceptions for IP addresses and ports may need to be applied.
