Prepare the mailboxes for the export
In the main window specify the mailbox ID of the mailbox to be exported. This value can be found in the Enterprise Manager > Address book manager > Mailboxes tab or via SQL in the EXCHANGEPAMMAILBOXES table. You can enter multiple mailbox IDs separated by a comma ( for example: 4,5,9).
Here you can specify also additional filtering by Received Date.
It is recommended to turn on GetFile - Create folder structure option
Press the Create CSV button to create the CSV file for further processing.
* You can create the CSV file yourself if it should fail for some reason. You need to run the following query to get the needed columns:
SELECT DOCGUID, DocVersion, MBXID, ParentFolder FROM EXCHANGEPAMDOCUMENTS WHERE MBXID = XX
The CSV file MUST NOT contain headers and the values have to be separated by a comma!
Processing the CSV Files
Now the CSV Files have been created but they may contain too many items.
It is recommended to keep a maximum of 100.000 items per XML file.
Check the "Items per Xml" option and specify a value.
Click the CSV to XML button.
Injecting the XML Export task into the Enterprise Manager
It is recommended to create a copy of the existing files and folder under the Export Base folder.
Injecting the XML Files will stop all running export tasks and will add the new tasks to the existing tasklist.xml.
Press the Inject button and restart the Enterprise Manager console and the MAM Exchange Manager service in order
to reload the tasklist. Once started navigate to Tools > Export Tasks in the Enterprise Manager console and start the
export tasks. You should run a maximum of 4 export tasks at once! More tasks may crash the MAM Handler service!
