How to categorize your call types in the OCS/Lync Report pack.
Right click OCS/Lync node in the MessageStats console.
Click "Voice Properties"
On the "Call Types" tab your rules will be displayed. If the rules are not displayed click "New Voice Routes" to import the rules from OCS/Lync.
Using the drop down for each voice route specify the Call Type.
When classifying the call type in MessageStats reports the call type is based on the first pattern matched. For example, if an internal call is 4 digits, the pattern should be defined as 4 digits only, and when a long distance call comes in (more than 4 digits), the first pattern won't be matched, then the next pattern will be checked, until a matched pattern is found, then the call will be reported in that category.
