Toad hangs when using 'Schema Browser | Left Hand Side | Tabbed Browser Style'

If you switch from Drop-Down to Tabbed Browser Style in Options | Schema Browser | Left Hand Side, Toad hangs when you click on the Schema Browser. The hang doesn't happen if you switch back to Drop-Down style.
