Cannot Uninstall Recovery Manager for Exchange - Error: "Error 27502 Could Not Connect To Microso
説明
When Un-installing Recovery Manager for Exchange (all versions) you receive "Error 27502 Could Not Connect To Microsoft SQL Server..." and then the installation Rolls Back. Uninstall and repair are equally affected.
原因
The user has un-installed MSDE, or has deleted the Recovery Manager for Exchange Databases, or is otherwise unable to reach the database due to corruption.
対策
Install MSDE via command line. Run the following command from the directory the installation files are extracted to:
setup.exe SAPWD="insertpassword"

After you reinstall MSDE, go to another workstation that is not running Recovery Manager for Exchange, and install Recovery Manager on this workstation.
When it comes to ask for Database, choose an already installed SQL server and browse for the system that is having problems. Install Recovery Manager as per normal. During this installation, the databases for Recovery Manager for Exchange will be reinstalled on the system that is having problems, thus allowing you to now uninstall or repair the system.
