Storage:  Compellent agent - performance statistics did not change between last two collections

The performance statistics did not change between last two collections: Performance statistics collection interval on target should be set less than or equal to the interval in Foglight for Storage Management

Checklist for Compellent's Enterprise Manager

• Login to the Enterprise Manager
• Connect the array
• Edit Data Collector Array (Top Right Corner of the client)
• Under Schedules, look for IO Usage and Replication Usage
• The settings should be 15 minutes and 15 minutes respectively by default, if they are different, make a note

Changes for Storage collector agent

• Navigation Panel| Dashboards| Administration| Agents| Agent Status| Compellent Agent
• Edit > Edit properties
• Modify the private properties for this agent.
• Data Collection Scheduler
• Clone the "defaultSchedule" and change the name to appropriate to the agent name (best practice)
• Edit the Collector Config Schedule
• Modify, "Performance Collection for all others" from 10 minute default to noted value for largest value between the IO usage and Replication Usage values in the Enterprise collection schedule.  
• Save changes
• Then save prior to exiting the agent properties.  

Note:  Be sure to deactivate/reactivate the Storage agent for settings to take effect.
