Near the end of the backup task an error similar to the following is thrown, "Error: 2117 - can't rename ".318d5d33-7047-494a-914a-e5c9a276f89c/.318d5d33-7047-494a-914a-e5c9a276f89c.var" to "VMname-1_20150306_101010_F_1_VMname\'-Restore_vmdk.var" in "cifs:domain;admin@10.110.16.210/E$/Backup/VMname_420108e6-0550-cbd1-61d6-7bb4bf62fe81/VMname_20150306_101010_434f5115-5071-4ca2-99b8-8cde59db3c2b" [at rename_one_file:719]"
原因
In this instance the Virtual Machine had an apostrophe in the name that was causing issue during the rename of the temporary file to the permanent Savepoint file.
対策
Clone the Virtual Machine to remove the apostrophe from the name. Then perform the backup of the Virtual Machine again.
