When trying to connect to our vcenter server. I get an error in the vcenter event log that states "Cannot login domian\username@IPAddressOfvRanger server". Entering credentials in username@domain.name format gives same result.
原因
A disconnect between the Virtual Center server and the Windows AD.
対策
Using an account local to the Virtual Center server allows vRanger to connect to the VC.
追加情報
To test credentials outside of vRanger do the following:
- on the vRanger server open a web browser
- in the address field of the browser enter https://ip or name of vc/mod
- you may be presented with a Certificate warning, click Continue to web site
- when challenger for credentials enter user name and password you are trying to use to credential vc in vRanger
