"Critical Error: [InTrust] Unknown error: 0x8adc4133" when adding an InTrust Repository to IT Search (4255118)

When adding an InTrust Repository, the following error is displayed in a red banner at the top of the page:

Critical Error: [InTrust] Unknown error: 0x8adc4133

Change the repository path to the UNC or Share path:

1. In InTrust Manager, go to "Configuration | Data Stores | Repositories".
2. View the properties of the repository being added to IT Search.
3. On the Repository tab, enter the UNC path of the repository. For example, \\Servername\InTrustRepository\Default
4. Click OK and Confirm changes
5. Attempt to add the Repository in IT Search
