The IC Windows Agents stop showing metrics in the Hosts dashboard. It seems like all of a sudden the respective IC Windows Agents stop Collecting Data. Recreating the agents doesn't help.
原因
The FglAM had about 100 IC Windows Agents reporting remotely to and using WMI.
Our current guidance is that when Windows agents have to use WMI (rather than the preferred WinRM) to make connections, then there should be no more than 70 WindowsAgent per FglAM.
This is due to a defect in a third-party library.
対策
Here are few recommendations to consider:
Enable WinRM on the monitored hosts.
If not, then try splitting the agents up between two or more FglAMs on separate hosts.
The FglAM on a desktop PC can handle up to 256 default-configured HostAgents using WinRM exclusively before it begins to encounter CPU loading. CPU becomes a limiting factor before memory does.
