A newly created Directory Connector will not start. The following error can be seen in the log file:
2013-11-21 16:21:16,077 ERROR CMN.logging [8] - QCService Outgoing exception Quest.QuickConnect.Server.ErrorHandling.SimpleErrorHandler.HandleError System.ApplicationException: The specified domain cannot be contacted.
Details: Domain controller not found in the domain "dc01.tt.com".
If you would like the CMN Directory Connector to communicate with a specific Domain Controller, then one can be entered as long as the "Use specific domain controller" box is checked. Otherwise, enter just the AD domain, "tt.com" in this example, and CMN will query for a list of available Domain Controllers.
