How To: Make better use of Directory Connector logs (4248639)

Each sync process will populate new logging details within  CMN.WLOG and CMN_Error.WLOG files and provide details about the sync process such as which source objects are processed, which source objects out of scope, which target objects are not mapped and which objects are synced, etc.

What do they exactly mean?

•   Duplicate objects within the source

• Objects that have not been matched to any target objects (no mapping records exist in the Directory Connector SQL Database)

• Objects that have been filtered out by the Source Scope filter

• Objects that we successfully read in the source

• Objects that have not been matched to any source objects (no mapping records exist in the Directory Connector SQL Database)

• There is no Target Scope filter in the GUI

• Objects that have been matched to the corresponding target objects (mapping records exist in the Directory Connector SQL Database)

• Objects for which matches have been found in target (mapping records will be created in the Directory Connector SQL Database)

• Objects for which a mapping record have been created in the Directory Connector SQL DB in this run

• Self-explanatory

• Objects for which contact objects have been created in target

• Self-explanatory
