Error Message : API call Failed when attempting backup or replication tasks for FREE version of ESXi 5
Causa

"Support for ESXi requires VMware’s vStorage API. The vStorage API is not available with the free version of ESXi Server. Please be sure to have the appropriate platform licensing level before attempting ESXi backups."
Risoluzione

Obtain Evaluation copy of VMware ESX(i) Hypervisor software with vStorage API feature enabled.
