What is the easiest way to tell if my Toad for Oracle install is 32-bit or 64-bit?
Starting with version Toad for Oracle 11.6, the Toad for Oracle installer has either 32-bit or 64-bit install.
Looking at the installer, if it has a “64”in the filename, it is a 64-bit installer. (i.e. Toad for Oracle 11.6 64-bit Commercial.exe)
If there is no number in the filename, then it is a 32-bit install. (i.e. Toad for Oracle 11.6 Commercial.exe)
If you do not have the installer file, open Toad for Oracle and drill to Help | Support Bundle:
If the first line states:
************************************************************************
APPLICATION INFORMATION - FULL VERSION (64-bit)
************************************************************************
This Toad for Oracle will be a 64-bit install.
Once again, if there is no (64-bit) referenced, it is a 32-bit install.
