How to create a new Migration Path for Stat 6.3.0?

Creating new Migration Paths for Stat 6.3.0

Solution:

1. Go to Maintenance > Domain-Specific > Peoplesoft Migration Path or Oracle Applications Migration Path depending on your Stat license.

2. Click New to create a migration path.

3. Double click on the migration path to take you to the Template window.

• This is the Template window that looks like the workflow.
• Highlight the environment on the left pane.
• Drag and drop the environment to the gray area
• Drag and drop environments 1 to 2 to create the link. Drag and drop other environments if you have more than 2 to create the link. If you are familiar with configuring workflow then this is the same procedure to create a link between two environments.
• As you can see, there are links between env Production and Development.

• The next step is to set up the base environment
• Right-click on the DB, which you would like to set up as your base. Most likely, the base should come from Production.

• Right-click at the environment you would like to designate as your development environment.

• Once you are done configuring base and development, your databases migration path should look like this.

D stands for Development
