The process looks to be getting toward the end where it is zipping all the files together.
The Zip utility may be overwhelmed with the volume.
It would be appropriate to clean out the support folder, and delete any zip files and folders that are not the History Folder that accompanies the Support Folder location.
1. locate the Support Folder, and go to the parent folder ie.
for XP: "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Quest Software\Spotlight\Default"
for 2008: " C:\Users\<usernname\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Spotlight\Default"
2. delete the Cop, Dataguard, SoO, SoRAC and SoU Folders - these contain only support and trace files.
3. Go to the Support folder and delete any Zip files
4. Restart Spotlight and try to collect a simple support bundle.
