When attempting to open the MessageStats Reports web page, the following error occurs:
"Unable to create copy template files to [My Reports] folder (0x80070050)"
Ensure the user accessing MessageStats Reports is a member of the following two local security groups:
- WebReports Users, which resides on the IIS Server hosting the MessageStats Reports web site.
- Quest MessageStats Web (for read access only), which resides on the computer hosting the Quest Messagestats database.
Make sure that ASP Net Impersonation is enable under Authentication of the MessageStats Virtual Directory.
If the steps above do not fix the issue.
1. Uninstall MessageStats by using the Install Package and Right click on the Autorun.exe and select "Run As Administrator"
2. After MessageStats is uninstalled Navigate to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ and rename the MessageStatsReports directory to MessageStatsReport.old
3. Reinstall MessageStats and make sure that you Right click on the Autorun.exe and select "Run As Administrator"
4. Reboot the MessageStats server after it is installed.
