How to seperate records in a Document Library by Subject during a migration (4258627)

The article will provide a solution for adding a folder in a Document library based on the subject of a record in Notes.  Within the folder in SharePoint the documents and attachments will be all located in one folder based on the subject name.

The following are the values that should be added to the Data Fields and Map Data tabs.

Source Data Definition

• Click Add
• Click the drop menu for ColumnType and choose Formula
• For Formula the format is +ColumnName.  For Subject you can use +Subject
• For Alias enter a name to identify this entry such as SubjectFolder.
• Click the drop menu for ReturnType and choose String

Target Data Definition

• Click Add
• For name you can use the same value used for the Alias above
• AutoMap Names should be the same as the Alias above

Map Data

You should see a map for SubjectFolder -> SubjectFolder

• Click Auto Map

The Notes records should now migrate into their respective folders on SharePoint.
