File level restore fails to mount or does not show some directories or all directories within a certain disk.
The disk type of the original VM needs to be validated. Dynamic and GPT disk types are not supported for FLR. While dynamic disks can be easily identified in the Disk Manager, the only way to know that a disk is made up of a GPT partition is to go into the disk manager and right click on the disk and choose Properties. Here you can click on the Volumes tab and it will tell you if the partition style is a GUID Partition Table.
