An administrator tested the supplied service account credentials prior to deploying the agent in the Deployment tab and the following error was displayed:
"The credential supplied does not have the necessary permission to perform the required task"
The credentials is for an account in the Domain Administrator group in the target domain.

Causa
Corrupt Windows Profile

Risoluzione
Complete the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Log in using different credentials.
- Delete the profile for the service account.
- Login in using the service account allowing the system to create a new profile for the service account.
