Looking for a way to monitor the health of Change Auditor.
Change Auditor has several components in its architecture that you will need to monitor to check the application's health. However, the core component will be the Coordinator(s) as it is responsible for receiving the data forwarded by the agents and storing it in the SQL database to deliver data processing and access through the GUI clients among other internal tasks such as scheduled alerts/reports or purge/archive jobs. The agents are the second most important component as auditing events cannot be gathered without them, so making sure they are always running is crucial to not miss any. The following technical documentation guide has more information about Change Auditor Technical Insights:
Change Auditor is capable of monitoring the status of its most crucial components with alerts that you can configure. Also, each component logs everything that is happening while the services are running. The following KB article can help you find the default paths for each log and also shows how DEBUG logging can be enabled (usually requested by Support for advanced troubleshooting):

Nevertheless, outside of these logs, you may need to rely on a third-party tool to monitor the Windows Services related to Change Auditor in case they stop for some reason. More information about this is explained in the KB article below:
