Error "Can't obtain agent names ADC Result: Success (0xadc1000)" when registering Unix/Linux agen -
Description
Registering an InTrust Agent from AIX, Solaris, HP UX, Redhat or SUSE server returns the following error:
"Can't obtain agent names ADC Result: Success (0xadc1000)" -
Cause
The /etc/hosts file may be missing data and/or contain incorrect data. If error occurs on HP-UX server it may not meet the system requirements and patch level.

Resolution 1
Edit the /etc/hosts file to contain valid IPv4 information and restart network services
An example line from the hosts file would be:
192.168.0.100 INTRUST,MYDOMAIN.TLD INTRUST
Where the IP of the server is "192.168.0.100"
The FQDN of the intrust server is "INTRUST.MYDOMAIN.TLD"
and the hostname of the intrust server is "INTRUST"
