Description
When attempting to perform an install all components for a second InTrust Server in an Org, with the Knowledge Portal not selected, the installation fails with an error popup Cannot find reporting service: The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found. You click OK and receive message Cannot install package. Error code: 1603 Fata error during installation. File<install-directory></install-directory>\IT95_Windows.1.0.067.00.msi. The available options are Abort, Retry, or Ignore. If Retry is selected, the error repeats. If Ignore is select and the next MSI comes up. Repeatedly clicking Ignore eventually completes the installation. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
The workaround is to have the<dvd_roor></dvd_roor>\InTrust\ReportPacks folder removed(renamed) before running the setup suite. This will allow the Knowledge Packs to be installed but not the report packs themselves.
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of InTrust.
