Description
During installation of IT Security Search the following error is experienced and the installer must roll back:
"Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Quest\ADC\AdcCfgClient.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024770. Contact your support personnel."

Cause
This may occur if the 2015 Microsoft Visual Studio C++ package required a reboot to complete installation prior to the attempted installation of IT Security Search. -
Resolution
Reboot the server and attempt the IT Security Search installation once again. -
Additional Information
Please note: If you have an IT Security Search version prior to 11.3, any folder/registry paths referenced may contain a non-Quest branded path.
