Intrust Manager Console freezes and becomes unresponsive periodically
In some specific scenarios, when using Intrust Manager, the console can become non responsive and event freeze for extended periods of time.
Intrust Event logs and Windows Application logs do not seem to show anything immediately concerning.
The Intrust Manager console is loading session data, and the large amount of session history in the console is causing performance issues. This is due to having to check the validity of each session as it loads in the Intrust config database.
Delete old session history that is no longer needed. As the amount of session history returns to a reasonable size, the console performance will improve.
Note: Often scenarios like this are paired with circumstances such as having a full SQL on the same server as Intrust, or having other enterpsie level software running on the same machine. In that situation, high Disk I/O can be a factor here, and the large session history may only be partially contributing to that.
