Gathering Job fails with the error, "Cannot initialize the required component. Error 0x80004005: The specified data cannot be collected using agent-side audit log backup without using agents".
Cause

The Gathering Job is configured to use agentless gathering but the Gathering Policy is configured to use caching.
Resolution
Configure the Gathering Job to use agents for gathering:
1. Right-click the Gathering Job and select Properties
2. Click the "Gathering" tab
3. Enable "Use agents to execute this job on target computers"
4. Click OK
5. Commit the changes
