During the setup of Binary Tree Integration for Notes on a Windows Coexistence server, we have an issue to verify the Freebusy from Domino to O365. BTAvailability test connectivity returns an error in the log.
To find the log:
1. From IIS, navigate to BTAvailability site and open Application Settings
2. Check for the "LogPath" setting's value. This is where the logs can be found
3. Open File Explorer and navigate to the LogPath
4. BTAvailability logs are files starting with btas and timestamped, for example "btas-log-GetUserAvailabilityRequest-xxx.error.log"
5. The error in the log is as below:
No permission to create event logs for Freebusy application.
Note: This affects BT Integration for Notes v20.11 only
A hotfix is available which is attached in this article. Alternatively, you can submit a request to Support for the hotfix
Quest releases hotfixes built specifically for customers who have encountered a critical issue and are unable to wait for our next scheduled GA product release.
Please note that while a hotfix is a fully functional and stable release and has been tested for changes made in that version, it has not gone through the full range of tests that a general availability release (GA) has, which is why it is not a GA release. Please ensure you test in a pre-prod environment before promoting to Production.
