When restoring a (existing or deleted) user who is a member of a group that has an app role assignment, the restore operation unexpectedly removes the group from the app role assignment. This results in the group losing its assigned application role, even though no changes were made directly to the group or its role assignment.
Expected Behavior:
Restoring a user should not impact existing group-to-app role assignments. The group's app role assignment should remain unchanged.
