After installing the product, when attempting to connect to the GPOAdmin service for the first time, the Service Configuration Wizard pops up and then MMC crashes with the following error:
Microsoft Management Console has stopped working
Typically, this issue is caused by one of the domain controllers that is not operational or cannot be contacted.
By default, GPOAdmin enumerates all the domain controllers in the environment on first connection to the GPOAdmin service.
You can use the GPOADmin.Configure.ps1 PowerShell script shipped with GPOAdmin to specify a domain controller that GPOAdmin will use while running Service Configuration Wizard.
