When deleting a Version-Controlled Object (VCObject) in GPOADmin, it is flagged as "Deleted" in the Version Control store.
Even when you unregister a VCObject after deletion, there is still data inside the Configuration Store. Many VCObjects which are deleted over the years can cause low performance when it comes to browsing the Group Policy Objects node or other containers using the GPOADmin Client.
We have created an enhancement ID (18555) for GPOADmin to perform a cleanup.
We recommend customers who are affected by this issue to switch from AD/ADLDS to SQL Server as a Configuration Store.
The ability to use SQL Server as the Configuration Store will be available in the 5.12 release of GPOADmin.
