GPOAdmin is showing the incorrect link in the GPO history report.
The GPO was linked to a different OU or didn't had any link.
The GPO history report doesn't show the specific OU that a GPO was linked at a specific version.
In this case, the the history report contain the latest link data for the GPO up to the time the GPO is deployed again.
The link information in Windows is only stored on the OUs, as such we will only update the link data for a GPO that we add to the backups upon on OU change and deployment.
The link history can be verify of the Scope of Management object history.
An Enhancement has been submitted to simplify this process, to show the link historical data on the GPO historical report.
