Test-path PowerShell command returns terminating error in GPOAdmin 5.10 -
Description
When using the Test-Path PowerShell command with GPOAdmin 5.10, a terminating error similar to the following is returned:
Powershell: Test-Path -Path VCRoot:\Hello\World -PathType Container

Cause
The terminating error is returned when the following conditions are true:
- The path tested is in "VCRoot"
- The Parent and subfolder do not exist
- "-PathType Container" is used

Resolution
WORKAROUND
Test each element in the path in sequence. For example, for "VCRoot:\\Hello\World" run "Test-Path -Path VCRoot:\Hello -PathType Container" and if it succeeds run "Test-Path -Path VCRoot:\Hello\World -PathType Container".STATUSWaiting for fix in a future release of GPOAdmin. -
