When doing a file level restore, DLL files are not selectable and grayed out
Description

Can't restore a DLL via FLR. When the list of files is returned the DLLs are grayed out. .
Cause

FLR sees these DLL files but is unable to allow you to select a DLL file.
Résolution

There are 2 ways to get around this issue please see the 2 options below.

1. Restore the folder that contains the DLL that you need to restore and then pull the DLLout of the restored folder.
Or
2. Once you have lunched FLR and the DLL files showup grayed out, open windows explorer and browse to the following path "%temp%\filelevelrestore" this will take you to the mount of the vRanger savepoint via windows, and windows can see the DLL files correctly and allows you to select and extract these files as well.
