In the Schema Browser Columns tab of Toad 11.0, I right-click in the column grid and select "Appearance". I then select any appearance option. When I click on the same appearance option again to 'undo' my selection, it does not undo the selection.
WORKAROUND 1:
Right-click and select 'Legacy'
Note: Legacy will have a bigger font

Reset Toad with the following method
Part I:
1. Grab your license key from Toad first by going to Help | Licensing - you might have to re-register later
2. Close out of Toad - very important
3. For Windows XP go to
"C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle"
For Windows Vista or 7 go to
"C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle"
4. Rename the entire 11.0 folder to 11.0_OLD
5. Launch Toad but when prompted for setting migration, select
"Do not copy my user files. Perform a clean install."
Part II
Since we are not migrating setting you will lose your saved connection info and password but we'll restore that manually.
1. Launch Toad and make one connection - be sure to check "Saved passwords"
2. Close out of Toad completely
3. For Windows XP go back to
"C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle"
For Windows Vista or 7 go back to
"C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle"
4. Copy the following files from ".../11.0_OLD/User Files" to the newly ".../11.0/User Files" folder
- CONNECTIONS.ini
- CONNECTIONSPWDS.ini
5. Start Toad and you should see all your connections
