How are Labels handled when migrating from Google Apps to Office 365.
Duplicate email items are being created in different folders during migration from Google Apps to Office 365.
Folders are created for each label defined in the Google apps mailbox. If multiple labels are applied to a single message a copy of the message is copied to each destination folder.
An Enhancement Request had been submitted to change the default behavior of creating a duplicate item for each label and raised as CR286307
Enhancement is now implemented. See the attached screenshot. That radio button second option of 'Convert labels to categories on the target and assign migrated messages to each corresponding category...' is what has been implemented
This meant to stop the duplicates (but this means all email gets migrated to the inbox).
Also, the checkboxes under the first radio button category are meant to reduce duplicates.
