I get the error 'A call to an OS function failed' error in Reverse Engineering | pass the ‘Connecting’ part of the Wizard | and then click on 'Previous' button. The error seems to happen a lot as soon as I reach the 'Connecting' section of the wizard. If I do not use the 'Previous' button, then I am able to complete the wizard without errors.
Steps to replicate the issue:
- Go to File Menu | Reverse Engineering
- Then click NEXT
- Select 'MySQL 5.0', then click NEXT
- Click NEXT again
- Under 'DDL Script' field, choose one of her SQL dump file, then open it, then NEXT
- SQL dump file loads, then click on NEXT again
- When I reach 'Select Data Migrator' part of the wizard, I click on PREVIOUS button.
- Then I get the 'A call to an OS function failed' error.
- I click PREVIOUS again to the 'Select Data Provider' section of the wizard.
- Then click on NEXT again, then gets the same error again.
