If the original and alternatives are not executed, it cannot generate the report. There are two ways to execute.
1. You can do it one at a time by highlighting the original and alternatives, then clicking on the Execute button. The button looks like a page with a green arrow point to the right.
2. You can do a batch optimize and this will execute the original and all the queries. As a warning, this could take a long time if you have alot of alternatives. The Batch Optimize button is the icon with the three persons running.
If SQL Optimizer finds there is Best Alternative in the Scenario Details page, there is a trophy icon displayed next to the Scenario Name in the "Alternatives" docking window. The Resolution Summary will show the original and best alternative information if the best alternative is found after the execution.
