How to avoid to keep using the "Run as Administrator" option when launching Toad for Oracle
Description

I'm on Windows 7 and I have to continually right-click the Toad for Oracle shortcut to select the "Run as Administrator" option. Over time this can be a bit annoying. Is there a way to set the 'Run as Administrator' permanently?
Résolution

1. Right-click the Toad for Oracle shortcut and select Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab and check the 'Run this program as an administrator' check box.
3. Click Apply and OK.
NOTE: If the UAC is on, then a prompt to run the program as an Administrator may pop up. To avoid that, do the following:

1. Click on Start and type in UAC in search field and press Enter.
2. Lower the notch to 'Never notify' on the User Account Control Settings.
3. Click OK.
